MATCH MET!
$225,000 RAISED IN 45 DAYS TO HELP US UNLOCK A HISTORY-MAKING MATCH!
A LETTER FROM THE DIRECTOR :
We have some absolutely incredible news to share: together, we have officially met our $225,000 matching challenge!
Over the last 45 days, this community showed up in a truly breathtaking way. Because of your collective generosity, every single dollar of that match has been unlocked.
When we launched this challenge, we knew it was an ambitious goal. But we also knew how deeply this community cares about our youth. By crossing this finish line, you haven’t just helped us meet a financial target. You have directly invested in the future of thousands of kids and families who look to Capital Futbol Club as a place to grow, learn, belong, and thrive.
Whether you gave $10 or $10,000, please know that your contribution matters and is already paving the way for the lasting vision of CFC.
Fundraising challenges like this remind us that we are entirely stronger together. On behalf of our players, coaches, staff, and board, thank you for your trust, your passion, and your unwavering belief in our mission.

A BUILDING FOR MORE THAN A SOCCER CLUB
Over the past decade, Capital Futbol Club (CFC) has grown from serving several hundred kids to nearly 7,000 youth each year. Soccer has become more than just a sport in for kids in our community — it’s a vital platform for physical health, confidence, lifelong friendships, and academic success. Now, we’re taking the next step.
CFC is currently constructing the Jason Sharp Center, a purpose-built indoor soccer and community facility that will provide year-round training and a true gathering place for families. Named in honor of Jason Sharp — a former CFC player whose life embodied the values we teach here — the center will expand our impact both on and off the field.
Our vision is to harness the power of sport to address real needs in our community: improved physical and mental health, higher graduation rates and engagement with post secondary education, and stronger relationships that last long after their time on the field.
