To become a certified referee for the 2025 spring season, you will need to complete an online training course as well as attend an evening on-field training.
Benefits of being a referee include work experience, high school credit, and perks into the scholarship program!
Completing this course will give you the 2025 USSF Badge that is required to do sanctioned matches. This certification will be good for both the spring and fall seasons giving you access to tournaments and into your professional pathway of being an official.
Date : Friday, March 21st
Time: 6:00 - 9:00PM
Age: 13+
Cost: $100 (can make up in two weekends of fall recreational season)
This class will be bilingual.

THE OFFICIAL REFEREE PATHWAY STARTS HERE
The CFC Youth Referee Academy allows youth officials in the greater Salem area an opportunity to build an interest in the officiating side of soccer. Youth will gain and build workplace skills, leadership skills and communication skills via officiating.
