CFC Receives the Rotary Club of Salem’s GoodWorks Large Grant

SALEM, Ore. – Capital FC has been chosen as the Rotary Club of Salem’s GoodWorks Large Grant recipient for 2023-2024.

“The Salem Rotary Foundation has always done great things for kids in Salem. We feel very honored to be this year’s recipient of the GoodWorks Grant.” says CFC Executive Director, Collin Box.

The GoodWorks Large Grant is part of the funding that will go towards the new building at CFC’s home, Pioneer Sports Park. This building is the final step in the club’s strategic development plan for the complex that started with the completion of John Chambers Field in 2017 and continued last year with Ed Davison Field.

Capital FC’s project is in the planning and permitting stages and began to take shape upon receipt of an initial donation in the fall of 2022. More info about the project as well as how to partner with the club for its completion will be released by the club soon.

The Rotary Club of Salem will be hosting their annual GoodWorks Auction February 11th at The Reed Opera House. You are invited to the Good Works Auctions for an evening of fun with the opportunity to help raise funds in support of the Salem Rotary, Capital FC, and other important work across our community. You can purchase tickets here.

For information about contributing to the building project, as well as legacy naming opportunities, please contact Collin Box (collin@cfcsalem.com).
