CFC Receives $3,000 through the Salem Foundation

SALEM, Ore. – Capital Futbol Club has received $3,000 from the George and Laura Kreitzberg Memorial Fund through the Salem Foundation in support of CFC’s Scholarship Program.

“We are thankful to partner with the Salem Foundation around our belief that every kid has the right to participate in sport, regardless of their socioeconomic background,” says Executive Director, Collin Box. “We do everything we can to eliminate financial barriers for families in our community and these funds will help extend that reach.”

Since 2011, CFC has given over $800,000 in need-based scholarships to families at or below the poverty level. Nearly 40% of CFC players receive a scholarship to participate. To learn more about our Scholarship Program as a family or donor, please visit cfcsalem.com/scholarships.
